Ava Brown-Mantha is a filmmaker. From 2014-2018, she worked as a programmer at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival where she developed and promoted the Youth Shorts Program. In 2018, she graduated from Queen’s University with a BA(H), majoring in Film and Media with a minor in Gender Studies. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MSC in Film Curation. She is of mixed Scottish, Irish, French and Mohawk descent and is an enrolled member of the Kahnawá:ke First Nation.
