Indigenous Screen Office Supports Four Indigenous-led documentaries at Hot Docs - ISO-BEA

Toronto (Tkaronto), ON April 25, 2024 — The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) is pleased to highlight the selection of four Indigenous-led documentaries at the Hot Docs festival that will take place from April 25th to May 5th, 2024 in Toronto. All of these films were supported with production and/or post-production funding from the ISO Story Fund.

“Indigenous documentaries have always been an important part of Canada’s screen-based ecosystem,” said Kerry Swanson, ISO’s CEO. “Now that the ISO has completed three full funding cycles, we are now seeing the results of our work. We are incredibly proud to have supported four feature films showcasing the diversity of Indigenous storytelling at this major international event.”

Jennifer Wickham, producer of the feature film Yintah, was also supported by ISO as a delegate in the Docs-in-Progress program at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022, where the project won the Think-Film Impact Award.
