Legal Clinic for Indigenous Storytellers - ISO-BEA

Program Overview

The Indigenous Screen Office is excited to offer free legal clinics to Indigenous storytellers.

These clinics are designed for Indigenous storytellers who have questions around IP, chain of title, contracts and agreements etc. to meet with a lawyer for one on one pro-bono advice.

Applicants are asked to fill out an application form, after which they will be paired with a lawyer and asked to sign up for a specific time slot.

Please note these meetings are meant to be an initial consultation. Any further resources needed will be the responsibility of the applicant.

The next clinic will happen on September 19, 2023. There are limited spots available. We encourage those interested to apply as soon as possible.

ISO is not liable for any information exchanges in the meetings.

Currently appointments are only offered in English.
