Call for Indigenous Producer to participate in Rotterdam Lab - ISO-BEA

Program Overview

The Indigenous Screen Office is inviting Indigenous producers developing a feature film to apply to participate as a delegate in the Rotterdam Lab at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) from February 1-3, 2026. The application must include; CV, current slate of projects and statement of interest outlining the value that attending IFFR would bring to their career. ISO will select one mid to established level producer to attend this lab.

The ISO is inviting Indigenous producers developing a feature film to apply to participate as a delegate in the Rotterdam Lab.

The selected producer will receive:

  • Five (5) nights of hotel accommodation.
  • Participation in the full Rotterdam Lab programme: five intensive days of masterclasses, lectures, roundtables, mentorships, and workshops.
  • IFFR CineMart accreditation, granting access to:
    • CineMart co-production meetings
    • Daily networking lunches and drinks
    • 20 film festival screening tickets (including Press & Industry screenings)
    • All Pro Hub industry panels
    • Festival Talks and Interviews with renowned guests
    • Art Directions & Immersive VR programme
    • Invitations to the IFFR Filmmakers Party and Industry Party
    • CineMart Awards

Eligible candidates include:

  • Producers who have made at least two short films and/or are working on their first or second feature film.
  • Independent producers with their own companies, freelancers, or junior producers at established production houses.
  • Producers who demonstrate a strong interest in expanding their international network.
  • There are no age restrictions.

Delegates will be responsible for managing their own schedules and arranging meetings outside of Rotterdam Lab programming. Delegates will also be responsible for booking all travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, meals, airport transfers and incidental expenses.
