The Indigenous Screen Office is inviting Indigenous producers working in media production, television and feature film to apply for participation in a delegation at Canada’s preeminent industry conference Prime Time, in Ottawa from January 29-31, 2025. The application must include; CV, current slate of projects and statement of interest outlining the value that attending Prime Time would bring to their career. Producers must have an established track record and minimum 51% ownership of a registered company in Canada. ISO will provide support for three mid to senior level producers and one emerging, this includes:
- $2,000.00 CAD stipend; and
- A pass to Prime Time 2025.
Only one (1) producer per company may apply.
Delegates will be responsible for booking all travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, meals, airport transfers and incidental expenses. The stipend is intended to offset expense and is allocated as a fixed sum, with no provision for supplementary funds.
In addition to travel funding support and accreditation, the ISO’s delegation will also be included in all CMPA special programming for all delegates which includes:
- A one-hour virtual training session for your organization, providing details and insight into the conference.
- A private ‘delegation only’ pitching workshop at Prime Time in Ottawa.
- A private “Coffee With…” session at Prime Time. An opportunity to sit down as a group with an executive for an informal Q&A.
- Invitation to the always popular First Time to Prime Time Cocktail reception at the conference.
Delegates will be responsible for managing their own schedules and arranging meetings outside of CMPA programming. A personal schedule will need to be emailed to ISO’s Senior Manager prior to travel.
